Privacy Policy

QuietFence is developed by Corebits Software Pvt Ltd. This policy explains how QuietFence handles information when you use the macOS app and its Safari extension.
Information QuietFence processes
QuietFence processes the settings needed to provide its features, including your protected-site list, focus-session state, Launch Ritual selections, Ad Shield setting, and the number of advertisements removed. This information is stored locally on your Mac in the app and its shared App Group container.
Safari extension activity
The Safari extension examines website addresses and supported page elements on your device so it can apply your blocking rules and remove supported advertisements. QuietFence does not upload your browsing history, visited URLs, or webpage content to Corebits Software.
Data collection and tracking
The current version of QuietFence does not operate an analytics service, advertising SDK, or user-account service. Corebits Software does not sell personal information and does not use QuietFence activity to track you across apps or websites.
Purchases
Subscriptions and free trials are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. Corebits Software receives subscription-entitlement status needed to unlock features, but does not receive or store your full payment-card details. Apple's handling of purchase information is governed by Apple's privacy policy.
Retention and deletion
QuietFence settings and counters remain on your Mac until you change them, remove them within the app, or uninstall QuietFence and its associated local data. Because QuietFence does not maintain a user account or upload this information to Corebits Software, there is no corresponding cloud profile for us to delete.
Children's privacy
QuietFence is not directed to children under 13, and Corebits Software does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if QuietFence's features or data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will identify the latest version.
